AIREX^® foams

The product name AIREX^® is composed of two parts: «AIR» and «EX», the technical term for expansion.

The characteristic air bubbles form in the material, increasing the volume many times over, while the weight remains low. Our foam products consist of
50 to 96 percent air – and thereby save valuable raw materials.

As part of sandwich structures they support the building of light-weight vehicles which save fuel and help transport more passengers and goods which again helps to preserve the environment.

Moreover, bigger blades can be built for the wind industry which achieve a higher performance thanks to the ideal stiffness to weight ratio of AIREX^® foams.
