The requirements of our customers are as unique as our services. That’s why our service offering begins with the evaluation phase and covers the entire process up to the production of the sandwich components, according to the customer’s needs and including employee training and process development. As we contribute our experience and expertise, we help our customers to implement the technology of lightweight construction, so that a genuine added economical and ecological value arises for them and their customers. That is what we mean by customer service.

Overview

Hybrid Core Calculator: We provide our customer with the service to customize their sandwich component to get an optimal result for the end product. By calculating various sandwich designs, we give advice which core material is best suited for their requirements in terms of properties and price. On top of that, we provide Life Cycle Analysis data for the different sandwich options to calculate the ecological footprint of the sandwich part. Thus, our customers can also choose the most sustainable solution.
Employee training / product consulting: Customer specific trainings can be organized to get in-depth knowledge of our extensive product range on a theoretical but also practical level. By understanding and utilizing our Hybrid Core
Concept^® solutions tailored to ultimate performance are ensured.
Composites analysis and evaluation service: Our composite engineers review laminates for marine applications and offer alternatives / suggestions for new projects. Recommendations can be in accordance with recognized classification standards, such as ABS, DNV and Lloyd's Register of Shipping.
We can also propose sandwich lay-ups for other transportation, industrial and many other applications such as tanks, covers, plates, etc.
Composites testing: We do material and component but also process testing in our in-house laboratories according to ASTM, EN, ISO and other recognized standards, supporting product application and development programs. Our wide-spread range of equipments also allows performing very customer-specific tests tailored to engineering needs.
Product certifications: Various product certifications issued by 3rd party authorities are available on request. In case customer specific certification procedure is requested, we will support you as good as it gets with in-house testing but also in close cooperation with our network partners.
Product and process development: With im@c^®, our innovation management @ Composites, we continuously and systematically invest our resources in creating new opportunities for our product range but also processing and cost improvements at the customers.
